4. Why can't I open the files in my graphics program?
Graphic File Overview: Vector File (.eps) vs. Raster or Bitmapped Files (.jpg)
EPS files downloaded from ExtremeClipart.com are vector-based file formats. Vector files are made up of lines and nodes. Raster or Bitmapped images are pixel-based files. Vector files can be opened, imported, and edited without loss of quality in such programs as CorelDraw, Adobe Illustrator, and Macromedia FreeHand. Raster or Bitmapped files can be opened by most Window based PC's and can be edited in popular programs such as Adobe PhotoShop, and PaintShop Pro.
5. How come I can not manipulate the design after I import it into Corel Draw?
The problem maybe how CorelDraw interprets the file you're trying to import. You are probably selecting the EPS - Encapsulated Postscript option to open the .eps files. To solve this problem, try selecting the PS, PRN, EPS Post Script or AI - Adobe Illustrator option to import the file. To import the colored .eps files as true vector fills please import as .ai file.
